Welcome
to Brygga
Brygga
is situated in a serene and scenic setting to the east of Dønna
in the region of Helgeland, North Norway. Today the resort consists of
5 apartments, each with 60 m2 of floor space, and a conference room -
all of which were built between 1997 and 2004.
If
you are planning on arranging a course, conference, mystery tour, family
reunion or simply a weekend outing for family and friends, then this is
the place for you! Brygga is easily accessible, situated only a 25 minute
ferry trip and a 10 minute drive from Sandnessjøen.
At
Brygga you will find our conference room "Naustet" that is suitable
for courses or social events for 20-30 people. If you wish to have a meal
here, you will find all the cutlery and utensils you will need.
The
apartments maintain a high standard and consist of a lounge combined with
a fully equipped kitchen. TV, dish washer, shower and toilet in all apartments.
All apartments have at least two bedrooms where you will also find duvets
and pillows. There are altogether 29 beds at the resort, 10 of which are
suitable for two people. Extra beds available. Two rorbu cabins are presently
under construction.. In association with the Tingstua Spiseforretning
restaurant in Bjørn, we offer our course and conference guests
lunch and dinner when ordered in advance. Why not try a meal of genuine
Helgeland fare like salted, cured saithe (rødsei), or marinated
salmon? Bacalao made in the Helgeland way will add relish to your after-conference
evening meal.
Brygga
is situated in an area with abundant bird life and excellent fishing.
You can catch fish from the quayside, or if you fancy a trip out on the
fjord, you can also hire a boat. We have our own gutting room where you
can prepare your catch for the table.
Our giant outdoor heated bath tub, "Stampen," is in frequent
use summer and winter. Even during the winter, the hardiest of our guests
combine it with a refreshing dip in the sea.
Our barbecue shed "Grillstua," can accommodate up to 20 people.
Why not spend an evening dining around the open fire?
